The Walkley Awards are reviewed regularly to ensure they best reflect and celebrate an industry in constant evolution.
Informed by analysis of reviews conducted in 2013 and 2017, this year we consulted with leaders across 15 major media companies for their views, before conducting this survey, which is open to all Walkley stakeholders.
We are particularly keen to hear from previous Walkley Award entrants, nominees and winners, judges, editors and news directors, from organisations big and small, to capture as diverse and comprehensive a range of opinions as possible.

This survey (and subsequent industry roundtables in February 2023) will inform recommendations for changes to the Walkley Awards that the judging board will consider and act on before entries to the 2023 awards open on July 1 next year.
